Turk: The new CEO of Aqaba Development Corporation (ADC) Following the Council of Ministers’ decision to appoint Mr. Mohammed Salem Turk as the government’s representative at Aqaba Development Corporation (ADC) Board of Directors, ADC Board of Directors appointed Mr. Turk, as the new Chief Executive Officer of ADC replacing Mr. ""Shadi Ramzi"" Al-Majali, who resigned end of July.
Mr. Turk worked as the CEO of the South Company for Construction and Development (Group King Abdullah Fund for Development) and CEO of Ma'an Development Company, and as a member of the BOD of a couple of KADDB companies as well as a member of the investment Committee at Jordan Investment Board. Prior to that Mr. Turk held several positions in both the public and private sectors, this enabled him to gain considerable experience in the fields of industry, economic analysis, real estate investment and construction
Commenting on the subject, Mr. Turk stated: “The success achieved by ADC so far is indeed remarkable, but more challenges are still to come. I am quite confident that ADC working together with other entities in the Aqaba Special Economic Zone (ASEZ) as one team will be able to meet challenges, and to achieve the vision of His Majesty King Abdullah II, which will benefit the city of Aqaba in particular, and the Jordanian national economy in general”.
