Announces the candidates of scholarship program for the fourth successively year
Aqaba Development Corporation ADC, the central development corporation of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone, announced the candidates of the scholarship program during a ceremony held in Princess Basma Center for development/Aqaba, under the patronage of H.E Mr. “Shadi Ramzi” Almajali, the CEO of Aqaba Development Corporation and in the presence of the candidate students and their families.
ADC allocated, for the fourth year, 16 scholarships for different educational levels, where as the number of candidates of this program until this year 64 students.
Mr. “Shadi Ramzi” Almajali, CEO of ADC noted: “This initiative comes as part of ADC’s commitment toward providing equal opportunities between Jordanians through offering equal educational opportunities, and to go in harmony with the strategy of Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority to present educational opportunities in order to convince students to study majors that are needed in the job market”.
It is important to mention that ADC has launched the scholarships program in 2006 and for four years. Where an agreements was signed with the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development JOHD. JOHD and through Princess Basma Center for Development/Aqaba manages the program with direct coordination with Aqaba Development Corporation. According to the conditions and terms of the signed agreement which includes covering the educational fees in addition to 50 JDs monthly as a pocket money for every candidate student.
