The Deputy Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA), Sharhabeel Madi told Roya Tuesday that a number of cruise ships will arrive in the city of Aqaba in the coming days, as part of the authority's plan to return cruise tourism, which is expected to reach its peak in mid-September. Madi explained that the tourists will visit Aqaba in addition to Petra and Wadi Rum, stressing that tourism has begun to recover in the city, especially after the reopening of sectors.
