Head of Investment Accelerator (Ref.1)

Roles and Responsibilities

- Ensure maximum value creation within priority sectors (in terms of deal value, job creation etc.) and alignment with ASEZ strategy
- Work with external entities (e.g. Invest Jordan, embassies, chambers of commerce, 3rd party providers) for lead generation
- Oversee high-profile negotiations, deal closure, and aftercare of key investors
- Escalate roadblocks faced on key deals, request for senior official intervention as needed
- Consolidate investor feedback and advocate for policy change in the center of government and/or with relevant teams in ASEZA
- Define innovative deal structuring with partners and investors
- Propose new (sub-)sectors of focus as appropriate
- Coordinate closely with existing Marketing and Promotion teams
- Oversee Investment Acceleration team, manage staffing and HR
- Put in place best-in-class investment attraction governance, ensure compliance
- Ensure coordination between Investment Accelerator, Strategy & Active PMO team, other ASEZA/ADC teams, and government/private sector stakeholders

Qualifications and Education Requirements

- Master’s degree in business administration/ Economics or related field
- 7+ years of experience incl. in the private sector (esp. business development function with exposure to international markets).
- Strong international and local network especially with the business community
- Proactive mindset with the private sector and investment experience
- Credibility & authority to work with senior leaders and high-profile investors
- Well-connected to coordinate lead generation
- Substantial strategy experience
- Strong communication, negotiation, and management skills
