Sector Lead (Ref.2)

Roles and Responsibilities

- Define the strategy for the sector/subsectors
- Work with researcher and Invest Jordan to develop Unique Selling points (as well as barriers) of the sector in ASEZ
- Work with the researcher to identify target investors
- Development of pitch document for sector and subsectors
- Lead engagement with potential investors
- Actively reaching out to / following up with target investors identified
- Answering questions of the target investors (in coordination w/ existing ASEZA/ADC teams & other stakeholders)
- Quality check proposals understand requirements of target investors
- Discussion of the proposal with relevant teams and stakeholders
- Coordinate with existing teams to ensure investors are well supported in business set-up (e.g. matchmaking w/ local partners, navigate admin process)
- Follow up on investor needs after the deal conclusion
- Regular active check-in to understand investors' needs
- Escalate investors' pinpoints, recommend policy changes as appropriate
- Facilitate re-investment/expansion plans

Qualifications and Education Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree and above in business administration, economics, or related fields
- 5+ years of experience including 2+ years in one of the relevant sectors (Tourism, Manufacturing, Skills), preferably in sales/business development positions
- Excellent knowledge and experience in contract management of both construction and supervision.
- Strong communication skills, able to deliver the pitch in a compelling manner
- Deep knowledge of the sector in question, of FDI and investment trends in the sector, of key investment decision drivers
- Commercial acumen & understanding of business climate
- Ability to build an ecosystem of players: strong knowledge and relationship with sector regulators/enablers/others
- Proactive, with strong self-motivation and autonomy
