YEP MED Vocational Training Program - Class of 2022

Under the patronage of HE Hussein Al-Safadi, a graduation ceremony was organized for the 2nd batch of the YEP MED training course, where Diploma certificates for the International Trade and Operations (VT2-VT3) training course were awarded to nine trainees in an event conducted by ADC with a virtual participation of the Project Lead - Escola Europea.

Mr. Al-Safadi, the CEO of ADC, appreciates the partnership with Escola Europea in implementing the YEP MED Program in Aqaba highlighting the positive impact towards capacity building of Youth as well as women in port & logistics community in Aqaba. He also thanked graduating students and YEP MED team members as well as ESCOLA team members for their efforts in virtually executing this exceptional training course.

Mr. Rodés, Executive Director of Escola Europea - Intermodal Transport, also extended thanks to all attendees including YEP MED team members and congratulating all graduates who passed the course. He also emphasized on the importance of the course, which was held in several stages VT1, VT2, and VT3 under exceptional circumstances due to the coronavirus pandemic, due to which training courses were implemented remotely mainly through Google and ZOOM applications.

Eng. Al-Sakran, Executive Manager for Ports Airport & Logistics, YEP MED Project Manager in Jordan, stressed on the significance of vocational training, stating that government and companies need to invest more in this kind of trainings as part of their capacity building strategies. Additionally, he wished all trainees best of luck in their internships during the coming three months where he encouraged them to grab this opportunity to learn new skills and expand their network.

ADC in cooperation with Escola will continue to execute more Vocational Courses as well as Occupational Courses during the coming year.
