Aqaba Development Corporation launches unique Projects

His Excellency the CEO of Aqaba Development Corporation announced the launch of unique projects during the investment session, which was part of the activities of the second day of the "A Year of Renewal" forum, which the government organized to mark the one-year anniversary of the launch of the economic update vision and the roadmap for updating the public sector.

These projects include the following:

First: Projects west of King Hussein International Airport:

Aqaba International Exhibition Center
World-class Race Track
Heritage Aircraft Museum

Second: The development of the Durah border crossing, which connects Aqaba with Saudi Arabia, is currently underway. Aqaba Development Corporation is preparing the final designs for the implementation tender.

Third: The development of the Al-Quweira Industrial Zone and providing it with natural gas for industrial purposes, to be one of the first industrial Zones to be served by gas, thus saving production and energy costs by 35%.

Fourth: Development of the Oil Terminal & The Natural Gas Onshore Regasification Unit (ORU).

Fifth: Partnership with the private sector to develop a data center and receive Google's internet line by the end of this year.
