Aqaba International School (AIS) was established by the Aqaba Development Corporation in 2005 as a key social and investment-enabling project. Located in a residential area of Aqaba, AIS is being operated by GEMS. AIS provides a high-quality international and holistic education that promotes academic excellence, critical and creative thinking, problem-solving, communication skills, independence, and intercultural awareness, while preserving Arab culture, values, and traditions. The school aims to empower students to become future leaders by developing their potential and preparing them to make a positive impact in their local and global communities.

The Aqaba National Vocational Training Hub is designed to equip Jordanians with the practical, in-demand skills that Aqaba's growing industries require, from logistics and manufacturing to tourism and hospitality. By aligning training with the needs of investors, ANVT strengthens the local talent pipeline, supports job creation, and makes Aqaba an even more attractive place to do business.
