Aqaba Facilities Management Company (Marafiq)—a private limited shareholding company wholly owned by the Aqaba Development Corporation (ADC), serves as the primary operational engine for maintaining and operating critical public, commercial, and residential infrastructure across Aqaba. Evolving from its 2006 origins as "Madain Al-Nour" into ADC's fully integrated facilities arm in 2019, Marafiq deploys specialized personnel and advanced maintenance systems to manage key regional assets, including the Aqaba Recreational Complex, Al-Shamiya Workers' Residential City, the Great Arab Revolt Plaza, sports grounds, agricultural landscaping, and city-wide sterilization services. As a core social and operational enabling project within ADC's master mandate, Marafiq safeguards public assets, enhances municipal liveability, and delivers essential logistics and facilities management that directly support Aqaba’s urban growth, community well-being, and overall investment attractiveness.
