Who We Are

Aqaba Development Corporation (ADC) is the development engine of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone. Wholly owned by the Government of Jordan and the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority, we hold the mandate and the assets to turn a Royal vision for the Red Sea into a working, growing, world-class economy.

We build the infrastructure, shape the master plan, attract the investment, and operate the gateways, the port, the airport, and the strategic land that connect Aqaba to the world. Two decades on, the results speak for themselves: a modest port town has become one of Jordan's defining economic success stories.
