Aqaba Development Corporation invites qualified engineering companies and offices classified with the Government Tenders Department in the field of roads, First Category (A) for the year 2026, to participate in:

Preparation of Studies and Designs for the Development of the Master Plan for Truck Yard No. (2) Tender No. (36/A/2026)

The project is located south of the city of Aqaba, at Truck Yard No. (2). The project includes the preparation of studies and designs (a traffic study, the possibility of expanding the yard, increasing the number of entry and exit lanes, and providing a deceleration lane), as well as the redistribution of the yard's elements, surrounding the yard with a metal fence for protection purposes, the rehabilitation and maintenance of existing elements, in addition to pavement works, tree planting and site landscaping, as well as yard marking/layout works to organize movement and parking within the yard, in addition to surveying works and the preparation of the detailed design documents and drawings for the execution works.

Those wishing to participate in the tender should visit the Tenders Department at Aqaba Development Corporation's offices in Aqaba, between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM, starting Monday, 13/7/2026, until Sunday, 19/7/2026, bringing the following documents:

1. A valid classification certificate for the company or office from the Government Tenders Department for the year 2026.
2. A written authorization bearing the company's or office's official stamp and the signature of the authorized signatory, permitting the bearer to receive the tender documents.
3. Payment of the tender document price (50 Jordanian Dinars only, non-refundable), to be deposited into Aqaba Development Corporation's account No. (0/548/1/203762/213) at the Arab Jordan Investment Bank, Aqaba Branch, with the deposit receipt required to be presented.

Notes:

1. Assembly for the site visit for applicants will take place on Monday, 20/7/2026, at exactly 11:00 AM at the offices of Aqaba Development Corporation.
2. The final deadline for accepting inquiries is Wednesday, 22/7/2026 (no inquiries will be accepted after this date).
3. Bids must be deposited in the tender box at Aqaba Development Corporation before 12:00 noon on Monday, 10/8/2026, and bids will be opened at Aqaba Development Corporation at the same time.
4. The bidder participating in the tender must verify the completeness and integrity of the documents upon purchasing their copy.
5. The provisions of the Stamp Duty Law of 2001 apply to this tender.
6. The bidder applying for the tender is required to attach a bid bond in the amount of (1,250) Jordanian Dinars only (one thousand two hundred fifty dinars) in a separate envelope from the financial bid, valid for a period of (180) days from the date of deposit. In the event a check is submitted instead of a bid bond, it must be a certified check issued by a bank accredited with the Central Bank of Jordan, made out in the name of the bidder (as stated in the commercial register) applying for the tender, and must indicate the name and number of the tender.
7. The employer reserves the right to cancel the tender or re-issue it without stating reasons, and without any financial or legal obligations arising from such cancellation or re-issuance.
8. The employer reserves the right to award the tender without being bound to the lowest bid.
9. The bidder must submit their technical and financial offers in two separate envelopes, including the original copy of the tender documents, stamped and signed by the bidder. Offers containing any conditions or reservations contrary to the terms of the tender invitation will not be considered.
