Aqaba Development Corporation invites qualified engineering companies and offices classified with the Government Tenders Department in the field of buildings, First Category (A) for the year 2026, provided that a contract is concluded with an international consulting firm specialized in oil and gas projects (as a Joint Venture or Subconsultant), to participate in:
Supervision of the Development of the Oil and Gas Port Berth / Phase Two, Tender No. (53/A/2026)
The project is located south of the city of Aqaba, at the Oil and Gas Port (Petroleum Products) in the Southern Industrial Zone. The project includes supervision of the implementation of two main packages.
The first package includes the rehabilitation, inspection, and operation of petroleum products pipelines of various diameters, along with related welding repair and defect-correction works, in addition to the inspection, maintenance, and repair of LPG booster pumps and all their accessories, as well as the inspection, maintenance, and re-operation of petroleum products pumps, the replacement and calibration of certain precision instruments, and the inspection, maintenance, and servicing of control and measurement valves on the pipelines, including automatic valves and pressure relief valves.
The second package includes the rehabilitation of four prefabricated control rooms and their replacement with concrete rooms equipped with all necessary services, the removal of old structures previously used for crude oil export, the rehabilitation of the port's entrances and exits to enhance safety and security, the installation of a "Tire Killer" system at the entrance gate, the implementation of a system for separating water contaminated with petroleum products, and the rehabilitation of electrical, mechanical, and civil works, including the treatment of cracks in the mooring and berthing dolphins, the rehabilitation of the access bridge, the rehabilitation and maintenance of the concrete area in the tanker loading zone, the removal of the extended section of the berth platform, the implementation of lighting works along the pipeline route, the modification and installation of water drainage pipelines, the treatment of the volatile vapor system from the tanks, the conversion of certain manual valves to automatic valves and modification of the operating system to enable remote operation, in addition to the development and upgrading of the firefighting and alarm systems and the Fire and Gas systems, as well as the implementation of general safety studies, risk assessment, and safety requirement compliance.
Those wishing to participate in the tender should visit the Tenders Department at Aqaba Development Corporation's offices in Aqaba, between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM, starting Sunday, 5/7/2026, until Sunday, 12/7/2026, bringing the following documents:
- A valid classification certificate for the company or office from the Government Tenders Department for the year 2026.
- A written authorization bearing the company's or office's official stamp and the signature of the authorized signatory, permitting the bearer to receive the tender documents.
- Payment of the tender document price (200 Jordanian Dinars only, non-refundable), to be deposited into Aqaba Development Corporation's account No. (0/548/1/203762/213) at the Arab Jordan Investment Bank, Aqaba Branch, with the deposit receipt required to be presented.
- A copy of the personal identification documents of the individuals intending to attend the site visit, in order to issue the necessary permits to enter the project site, in addition to the vehicle registration license for the vehicle to be used during the visit.
Notes:
- Assembly for the site visit for applicants will take place on Wednesday, 15/7/2026, at exactly 11:00 AM at the offices of Aqaba Development Corporation.
- The final deadline for accepting inquiries is Sunday, 19/7/2026 (no inquiries will be accepted after this date).
- Bids must be deposited in the tender box at Aqaba Development Corporation before 12:00 noon on Monday, 3/8/2026, and bids will be opened at Aqaba Development Corporation at the same time.
- The bidder participating in the tender must verify the completeness and integrity of the documents upon purchasing their copy.
- The provisions of the Stamp Duty Law of 2001 apply to this tender.
- The bidder applying for the tender is required to attach a bid bond in the amount of (12,500) Jordanian Dinars only (twelve thousand five hundred dinars) in a separate envelope from the financial bid, valid for a period of (180) days from the date of deposit. In the event a check is submitted instead of a bid bond, it must be a certified check issued by a bank accredited with the Central Bank of Jordan, made out in the name of the bidder (as stated in the commercial register) applying for the tender, and must indicate the name and number of the tender.
- The employer reserves the right to cancel the tender or re-issue it without stating reasons, and without any financial or legal obligations arising from such cancellation or re-issuance.
- The employer reserves the right to award the tender without being bound to the lowest bid.
- The bidder must submit their technical and financial offers in two separate envelopes, including the original copy of the tender documents, stamped and signed by the bidder. Offers containing any conditions or reservations contrary to the terms of the tender invitation will not be considered.
