INVITATION TO TENDER
Aqaba Development Corporation invites qualified and classified contractors by the Government Tenders Department in the field of Roads, specializing in Concrete Works / Bridges, Intersections, and Tunnels under the First or Second Category, and in the field of Buildings, specializing in Metal Structures under the First or Second Category, jointly or in a joint venture for the year 2026, to participate in:
Construction Works of a Bridge and Crossing Culverts for Oil and Chemical Pipeline Services / Aqaba Tender No. (89/A/2026)
The project is located south of Aqaba city near the oil bridge area. The project includes execution of necessary survey and geotechnical works for implementation, construction of reinforced concrete foundations, footings, piers, retaining walls, and project-related concrete structures, in addition to the fabrication, supply, and installation of pipeline supporting steel structures (Pipe Rack), construction of necessary concrete culverts or passages for the crossing of pipelines and services, execution of mechanical and structural protection works for existing pipelines, environmental protection works, hydraulic protection and drainage around new structures, as well as coordination with the owners of existing pipelines and services during implementation.
Those wishing to participate in the tender must visit the Tenders Department at Aqaba Development Corporation offices in Aqaba between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM, starting from Wednesday, October 21, 2026, until Tuesday, October 27, 2026, bringing the following documents:
- A valid classification certificate for the year 2026 for the company, institution, or joint venture issued by the Government Tenders Department.
- Written authorization bearing the official stamp of the company, institution, or joint venture and the signature of the authorized signatory, permitting the handover of tender documents to the bearer.
- Tender document fee of (500) JOD—five hundred Dinars only, non-refundable—deposited into the account of Aqaba Development Corporation Account No. (0122-045700-500) at Arab Bank, Aqaba Branch, with the requirement to present the deposit receipt.
Notes:
- Gathering for the site visit for applicants will be on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at exactly 11:00 AM at the offices of Aqaba Development Corporation.
- The deadline for receiving inquiries is Sunday, November 1, 2026 (no inquiries will be accepted after this date).
- Bids shall be deposited in the Tender Box at Aqaba Development Corporation before 12:00 PM on Monday, November 16, 2026. Bids will be opened at Aqaba Development Corporation at the same time, and all announcements related to the tender will be published on the company’s official website.
- Participating bidders must ensure the integrity and completeness of the documents upon purchasing their copy.
- The provisions of the Stamp Duty Law of 2001 apply to this tender.
- The submitting bidder is required to attach a Tender Guarantee (Bid Bond) valued at (40,000) JOD—forty thousand Dinars only—in a separate envelope from the financial proposal, valid for (180) days from the deposit date. In case a check is provided instead of a bid bond, it must be a certified check issued by an accredited bank with the Central Bank of Jordan, made out in the name of the bidder (as appearing in the commercial register), indicating the tender name and number.
- The Employer reserves the right to cancel or re-tender the bid without stating reasons and without incurring any financial or legal obligations as a result of such cancellation or re-tendering.
- The Employer reserves the right to award the tender without being bound to the lowest bid.
- The bidder must submit the original copy of the tender documents stamped and signed by them. Proposals containing any conditions or reservations contradicting the terms of the Invitation to Tender will not be considered.
