NVITATION TO TENDER

Aqaba Development Corporation invites qualified engineering companies and offices classified by the Government Tenders Department in the field of Buildings under First Category (A) for the year 2026 to participate in:

Supervision of the Implementation of Two Packages of the Al-Yamaniyah Beach and Commercial Center Development Project for the Southern Coastal Area - Plot No. (710) Beach Works and Commercial Center Tender No. (93/A/2026)

The project, with its two packages, is located south of Aqaba city. The project includes supervision over the implementation of development and rehabilitation works for Al-Yamaniyah Beach, covering a total area of approximately 227 dunams. This includes supervision over the execution of all civil and architectural works for service buildings (sanitary units, changing rooms, prayer room, serviced beach service building, etc.), electrical works for buildings and all beach areas, mechanical works for buildings and the general site, fire prevention and protection systems, as well as floating walkways on water, landscaping and planting works, skate park works, and outdoor exercise area works, in addition to supervising the comprehensive environmental survey study required from the contractor.

Furthermore, it includes supervision services for the implementation of the Commercial Center development works, located in the Southern Coastal Area of Aqaba city on Plot No. 710, covering a total estimated area of approximately 141 dunams. The scope of work includes supervision over the execution of the Underground Parking building with a total area of approximately 10,800 m², distributed over four floors, including all civil, architectural, and electromechanical works, along with its associated rooftop garden works. It also includes general site works covering sidewalks, bicycle paths, boulevard street paving, as well as site landscaping and gardens (three gardens in total), planting works, branding works, and all civil, architectural, electrical, and mechanical works.

Those wishing to participate in the tender must visit the Tenders Department at Aqaba Development Corporation offices in Aqaba between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM, starting from Wednesday, October 21, 2026, until Tuesday, October 27, 2026, bringing the following documents:

1. A valid classification certificate for the year 2026 for the company or engineering office issued by the Government Tenders Department.
2. Written authorization bearing the official stamp of the company or institution and the signature of the authorized signatory, permitting the handover of tender documents to the bearer.
3. Tender document fee of (250) JOD—two hundred and fifty Dinars only, non-refundable—deposited into the account of Aqaba Development Corporation at Arab Bank, Aqaba Branch, Account No. (0122-045700-500), with the requirement to present the deposit receipt.

Notes:

1. Gathering for the site visit for applicants will be on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at exactly 11:00 AM at the offices of Aqaba Development Corporation.
2. The deadline for receiving inquiries is Sunday, November 1, 2026 (no inquiries will be accepted after this date).
3. Bids shall be deposited in the Tender Box at Aqaba Development Corporation before 12:00 PM on Wednesday, November 18, 2026. Bids will be opened at Aqaba Development Corporation at the same time, and all announcements related to the tender will be published on the company’s official website.
4. Participating bidders must ensure the integrity and completeness of the documents upon purchasing their copy.
5. The provisions of the Stamp Duty Law of 2001 apply to this tender.
6. The submitting bidder is required to attach a Tender Guarantee (Bid Bond) valued at (17,000) JOD—seventeen thousand Dinars only—in a separate envelope from the submitted technical and financial proposals, valid for (180) days from the deposit date. In case a check is provided instead of a bid bond, it must be a certified check issued by an accredited bank with the Central Bank of Jordan, made out in the name of the bidder (as appearing in the commercial register), indicating the tender name and number.
7. The Employer reserves the right to cancel or re-tender the bid without stating reasons and without incurring any financial or legal obligations as a result of such cancellation or re-tendering.
8. The Employer reserves the right to award the tender without being bound to the lowest bid.
9. Bidders must submit their technical proposal and financial proposal in two separate envelopes, including the original copy of the tender documents stamped and signed by them. Proposals containing any conditions or reservations contradicting the terms of the Invitation to Tender will not be considered.
