Shamsuna

Shamsuna, a 10 MW photovoltaic project operational since February 2016, is situated within the Aqaba Special Economic Zone (ASEZ). Benefitting from its location in the sun-intensive Solar Belt and an annual Global Horizontal Irradiance (GHI) sum of up to 2400 kWh/m2, Shamsuna's Aqaba Project boasts ideal conditions for efficient solar energy production. In March 2014, Shamsuna signed a commendable 20-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the National Electric Power Company (NEPCO).
